Day 79

Today I got one of my photos of the grand canyon on google to be my background image the other photo i used was a picture of a hang glider. first i resized the grand canyon image to fit my template then used the quick selection tool to cut out the hang glider. even though i used refine edge there were still some parts i didn’t want on the image so i created a layer mask and masked them out. I then added a curves adjustment to the hang glider so it would match more closely to the background image color. After that I used a yellow and orange color with the paint bucket and added the blending mode linear burn and dropped the opacity to give the picture a darker look. I added a bible verse that I liked to the image and used stroke and outer glow to give it more pop.

Day 78

Today I created a Christmas card in photoshop. First I used a gradient for my background then downloaded a snow flake brush to put in the snowflakes. I also downloaded a new font that I liked for the words then used a curves adjustment to make the blue a little bit darker.

Day 77

Today I finished my business letter and worked a little bit more touching up spots I didn’t like in that car project. I added a layer mask and masked out some parts so they would still be black and added another part on the front chrome with the level adjustment. I also change the headlights with a soft brush and outer glow and inner glow blending options. 

Day 76

Today I worked on my business letter and finished it but I am going to go over back over it and make sure I didn’t miss any important topics.

Day 75

Today I chromed a car in photoshop by selecting the car and using level to change the color until it looked like chrome.

Day 74

Today I edited a picture of Michael Jordan I copy and pasted his body to a new layer duplicated the layer put layer masks on both of them then with my paint splatter brushes that I downloaded painted out parts I did and didn’t want.  

Day 73

Today I had career tech and started working on my resume. I almost got it complete just needed to add a few more things.

Day 72

Today I finished two lessons on lynda.com in the photoshop for photographers: creative design I used the noise filters and layer mask to take out the noise in some areas to make it look more realistic. I also used color balance to bring in some deeper colors and not make the picture look as faded.

Day 71

Today I created two keychain designs. I got both background images off of google image and the logos I used the selection tool and refine edge to cut out then added some glow and stroke to them. 

Day 70

Today I deleted all of my .psd files off of dreamweaver then created a goldbug basketball t-shirt. I used the selection tool to cut out the bug and basket ball the put an outer glow around the bug. I think I used about five different brushes that I had previously downloaded on the background to give it a paint splatter look.
